Documental Machine-Translated Subs

Hi there,

I was hoping someone could help me out with a translation/subtitling project.

I found a way to rip subtitles from Amazon Prime (using this method https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmPQXKqHNe4) and then began to run them through various machine-translation services, in order to get at least a typesetting and rough translation for people to work with. However, I couldn’t register for a Japanese Prime account, so someone else picked up the baton and managed to rip and translate Documental S07-S09. He uploaded the .srt files here:

ENG
S07 https://ufile.io/f/7ic0h
S08 https://ufile.io/f/1izi1
S09 https://ufile.io/f/jqdkx

RAW
S07 https://ufile.io/f/h3o9t
S08 https://ufile.io/f/b517b
S09 https://ufile.io/f/9gwdv

The problem is S09E03 is missing for some reason. I was wondering if anybody could help me out by ripping the subs for S09E03? (.ttml format is fine)

Secondly, though, I think this method could be used to translate a whole host of Amazon Prime stuff that hasn’t been touched yet (there’s whole seasons of stuff by Yaseibakudan and Chidori on there, for example). Having subs that are already typeset (and about 90% correct) would really help translators and subbers. The translation is far from perfect, the main issue being that pronouns are all over the place, but even still it’s absolutely watchable. A typical example would be subtitles saying “He didn’t laugh!” when the person speaking is obviously referring to themselves. Even someone with little to no knowledge of Japanese could theoretically rip the subs, pair them with a RAW, sense check it and release. We’d get so much more content!

Apologies for the long post!

tl;dr: JP subs for Documental S09E03 please
