I would really like a database system that had a record of all of the available videos, both raw and subbed if available, and could also keep track of which ones you'd seen. Then you could search for videos using lots of different criteria, like length, whether or not there are subs, ep number, only ones with DL links, only ones with streaming links, etc.
I really like Gaki and am grateful for all of the work that everyone here does, even though I don't really have anything to contribute or participate in the discussions. I imagine a lot of people like me would appreciate a way to get to the videos without having to click through a bunch of topics and searches, and remember which clips you've seen, or wait behind a 3 minute adwall to see a 30 second clip. Of course, I don't mind the ads, and I'm glad that the translators & uploaders are able to pay their server costs / make a little money from all the great work they do, but it's frustrating when I don't realize I've already seen the clip or that it will be too short to watch while I eat a meal or something. I seem to remember there being something like this at some point, is that wrong? Is there some reason this type of system is frowned upon, like obfuscating the links to avoid copyright complaints?
Besides, it would look much cooler!
