I'd like to suggest that the site allow attaching files with .SRT and .ASS extensions. This will remove the extra step of having to ZIP or UNZIP subtitle files that are attached to posts.

That's something, I think, you'll never see. It would kill the accessibility of the website from mobile devices, not to mention all the lagging it would cause

Don't turn away from the forum layout cause it works awesome and I guess it's quite easy to handle

The way the board works right now is ok and there's not much that need changing.

C'est déjà le cas, tout en bas à côté de "Board index"

Par contre, a chaque fois que tu reçois une alerte, tu dois aller voir le forum, si non, tu ne verras pas les prochains alertes de réponse.

Although this is not Facebook,

I think it would be great to have a "Like" button of some sort, for humorous/and or interesting posts.

Incorporating this with the "thank you" button would be perfect, one is used for thanking for user contributions and the other is used to show interest in one's post.

This is only a thought, but if people could like each other's posts wouldn't that be a incentive to post more? (to get more likes, much like Facebook.)

But I think the amount of likes shouldn't be ranked, unlike the "thank you" system.
