猫の茶碗 - Neko no chawan
Hi,
I’m happy you enjoy his other line of work! Someday I hope to make some of his rakugo related stuff more accessible to English speakers (dunno when/how though).
I think that is a audio-rip of a video that got deleted from Youtube. I grabbed it before it got removed, here’s a MEGA upload:

I really like Rakugo comedy. Like you i would like to introduce that type of comedy to non-japanese people.
Rakugo is pretty close to stand-up comedy so not too much of culture shock .
Hosei really do a great job with that ( a real pro )
Maybe later i will translate some of his Rakugo
Shofukutei Shohei also do some very funny rakugo.

That’d be awesome. If you do decide to do that then get in touch with me. I can do the timing/typesetting for you (and if English isn’t your native language I could also do English proof-reading). You’d just need to write down what he’s saying in English and I’ll do the rest.
Yes. thanks to you, my english isn’t very natural but i can manage that for a good translation that make sense.
i certainly can’t do translation now but maybe in the next months.
If you are still interested at that time i will contact you.

Your English is very good, being able to be understood is the most important thing and you do that well.
Grammar and tenses are a real pain in any language so I’d be happy to fix those aspects up. I’ve been helping people with those aspects on http://lang-8.com/ recently.
It’s cool you know English, French and Japanese. Where are you originally from if I may ask?

Ohh wow, that’s really impressive! I’m British and only know English. I had to study French in school but I’ve forgotten most of it. Anyway, thanks again for your kind offer.
