A show hosted by Matsuko and Arita? Awesome! I didn’t know such a show existed (well, it probably doesn’t anymore )
I think it’s a pretty interesting episode with a different perspective on Japanese culture. I still can’t get over how nonchalant everyone seems about groping women on the subway, that shocked me a bit. And how free Japanese seem to be about their bodies and those around them.
Does Matsuko have any regular show(s) currently on Japanese television?
This is awesome!! I stop checking [b:2ppxauzj]GodzillaRadio’s[/b:2ppxauzj] site cause I thought he was inactive. Glad to see him back again!! This show sound interesting, I’m downloading right now. So thank you [b:2ppxauzj]GodzillaRadio[/b:2ppxauzj], and thank you [b:2ppxauzj]Natsilane[/b:2ppxauzj] for keep us updated!!
PS: I don’t know about Matsuko Deluxe being a regular in other shows. I always see him as a guest, like in Mecha-Ike and others
Thanks for posting this. It’s really interesting. Thanks GodzillaRadio for subbing!
When I was looking through past shows Housei appeared on there was one very similar to this with foreigners as guests and a Japanese panel to bounce things off between (at one point they were teasing Housei and shouted "Yamasaki OUT!" ). They also quiz the foreign guests or pose them challenges such as writing certain things in Japanese. Outside the studio they also had some Japanese presenters visit international airports in other countries and spoke to foreigners about various things.
Ah, yeah all Youku videos are like that sadly. I had to use JDownloader with a proxy in the past (How to Download[/url:1topkshl] explains a bit), but I think even then it can be tricky.
I’ve uploaded it to MEGA, sadly it’s not subbed of course.
Some years ago I took some japanese classes. The teacher was a 20-something japanese guy that was studying Spanish at college in Japan. Some other spanish-students from Japan also came to spend a year here and learn the language.
Turns out they didn’t know that japanese manga and anime is exported all over the world and translated/dubbed and sold. When I showed them a picture of my manga collection they said: "Oh, you also make manga in Spain!" and I told them: "No,no, these are all from japan. They get translated and sold here!" and their mind was blown.
Not every video in Youku do that! I’m able to watch the New Year batsus from there and there’s no problem at all.[/quote:3hg4dwjh]
Oh cool. Most I’ve come across have been region locked.
Huh that’s cool. I wonder what they would think of all the anime conventions, cosplay clubs and lolita fashion enthusiasts in other countries.[/quote:67rvougw].
I remember the last year "Japan Expo" in france was live broadcasted on NicoNico douga.
and peoples could interact together with the "on video chat" wich was screened by a video projector in the expo.
Huh. Do you think this has something to do with British IP’s? Because it doesn’t do that with Latin American IP’s.[/quote:33u3bw9z]
Actually, it did the same thing for you too when the above youku link blocked you. I was just mistaken when I said "all" instead of "many". I guess it depends on on what Youku marks, it seems increasingly they mark more videos for China Only and it looks like many are uploading to FC2, Dailymotion etc. instead.

That’s cool. I think NicoNicoDouga lets them do live comments on the screen during the video too, wonder what they had to say about it.

But even that, many people have to run out of luck to have their accounts suspended on fc2, Dailymotion. I would say just upload the shows on MEGA or seed them on Torrent.

Personally I would use either Dailymotion (theyre not too bad yet, not much content matching) or MEGA. Torrents have the potential to die after awhile (like many on D-Addicts). But I’m referring to people in Japan who upload shows. Most don’t seem to create torrents or use filehosts for stuff, aside from the great ErnieYoung of course. Would be cool if there was a torrent site based in Japan though.

There must be a site for japanese torrents somewhere in the Internet.

There are many sites for Japanese torrents run by people outside Japan e.g. D-Addicts. But I haven’t come across one actually based in Japan, but that’s me. I just imagine it’s due to the laws, so instead they use those over-complicated P2P networks with heavily encrypted connections and results split up into tons of nodes that take forever to collect or download…
