For the Dailymotion users, Downtown appear in only part 2.
Edit: My mistake for before. I said they appear in part 3 but they seem to have left already.

The interactions are all really great! :D
First with Sanma, then DownTown, then UcchanNanchan, turning into a super hilarious 6person comedy :D
Then Tunnels jumped in
wow
More and more people came on stage and it’s all a hilarious mess :D

wow! great meeting of stars! and great to see downtown in this kind of shows.

#vatican, thanks for the link
do you know or someone knows why tamori quit? and what will he do now?

This video ([url:39k5nvsx]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsX7BvQxWts[/url:39k5nvsx]) was the ending of the Waratte Iitomo episode broadcast on the 22nd of October of last year, when Tamori announced that the program was ending its run. I really am not too sure of what Tamori said but I guess it had something to do with time - he hasn’t missed many episodes since it began 32 years ago and he probably feels tired of the show having done it for so long. I know that Waratte Iitomo has been losing a bit of popularity over the past few years because of Hirunandesu, broadcast around the same timeslot on NTV and is hosted by Ucchan Nanchan’s Nanbara (Endo appears every week on Mondays as well). I don’t know how much this contributed to Iitomo ending but Nanbara has been jokingly given the title of ‘Iitomo killer’ in some Japanese forums so I would imagine it had some influence.

This matome/summary article ([url:39k5nvsx]http://matome.naver.jp/odai/2138244644373509401[/url:39k5nvsx]) throws around a few possible factors. Listed are: falling ratings, Tamori’s age, Tamori’s salary is too high, Tamori wanted to end the show himself and Tamori hasn’t appeared on some of the show segments lately (I don’t think this is the case). It probably is a combination of a few but we will never know unless Tamori decides to tell all one day.

As for what Tamori will do now, he still has shows both on TV Asahi: a late night show called Tamori Club (タモリ倶楽部) that he has also done for 32 years and the occasional Music Station special. He has said he will continue doing those shows so he will be kept busy enough.

TBH, I was fearing a bit of an awkward atmosphere. As Ota of Bakusho Mondai said, a few of them have had a couple of problems with each other in the past, particularly Downtown and their relationships with both Tunnels and Bakusho Mondai. It is a testament to the strength of Tamori’s legacy that all of them could be on the same stage at the same time, although Sanma, Downtown, Ucchan Nanchan and Yabe left before the speeches. Still, it is nice to see them all having a laugh together and hopefully it loosens up a bit of the awkwardness between them all :)

It was great to see them together, I love both Tunnels and Downtown (and SMAP) so it was a great treat
It’s really sad Iitomo ended, I always watched at least one episode per week

#vatican! thanks a lot for that long answer
I didn’t know about "tamori club". its opening is… awesome, "for the sophisticated people" what an oldie, jeje
