Maybe someone should do a proper encode too, instead of just the raw mpeg2 from the dvd. I have a little experience, but not much i'm afraid.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I downloaded it, and I installed the DivX player like windows told me to, but it still won't play. It says it's not a supported file type or something. Is there a specific player I need? or do I have to burn it to disc? I'm unfamiliar with this file type >_< (Thanks , by the way, for the subs )

VLC Player will play it, Media Player Classic & CCCP combo will also work fine

You can still do "full qual" with xvid or h264, the problem with Mpeg2 being that it is extremely inefficient, and you can thus get the same quality as a 4gb mpeg2 file with a 1.5gb h264 file. Since this file is basically a raw, i could give it a shot.

What videos does that torrent contain, exactly? The sub file is sync'd with the 8XX MB file, this one: 24 Hour Tag (1999)

It contains an MKV'd dvdrip with new complete subs I've made. Thesrt he's referring to is in the same post as the dead link (which I've updated now) for the torrent
