How would one go about downloading a video off of youku? Is there any online website or program?
Just tried using DownloadHelper for firefox and it works.
paste the link of the page the video is in here flvcd.com, it will give the dl links of the video (u have to dl all of them)
Or if you have IDM (Internet Download Manager) it makes you able to get any video on any site (even the "ad video" we can see on some sites)
I don’t really like using Youku, but it makes me laugh every time because it reminds me of Youku brand seasonings.

I still use the youku video splice script nearly every day-- there are some limitations I haven’t handled yet (mp4box has a limit of merging maximum 20 mp4 files) but it’s one of the best scripts I’ve written.
Xmlbar automatically downloads it for you
Youku has a downloader, download this program http://www.youku.com/v/upload and then when you go back to the video you want to download, click the characters below the video in the right of the two small grey squares, one of the symbols looks like a T with an extra arm. Hope that helps.
