Lately I’ve noticed that quite a few of the videos I’ve uploaded onto dailymotion have been rejected.
Unfortunately, dailymotion doesn’t allow these files to be reuploaded.
I was thinking of just using youku to stream these vids, but many people seem to have trouble with this site, and I also realise that youku had actually
deleted some videos that I previously had on there too.
So, I was wondering which video streaming site most people are happy with, and are pretty lax regarding copyright issues.
Yeah a few of my vids I uploaded were gone for good too
Unfortunately because of the new tech that dailymotion and youku use its getting harder to upload shows online.
I reckon other streaming sites might use this tech or similar in future too.
I think the way forward is streaming through justin tv or other live streaming sites. (but that takes time and dedication)
Other streaming places that I can think of are metacafe, (never tried uploading there so not sure) pandora, (has tons of Asian shows so maybe?) or you could try facebook.
@godzilla
Didn’t realise that Metacafe only allowed 10 min vids. @JOcarina
I would of put Veoh but for some reason I cannot upload or download from there anymore so I thought it was for everyone. lol
I think Veoh do sometimes remove videos but I would say there is no guarantee with any sites unfortunately. The chances of things staying up do seem pretty good though with Veoh and Dailymotion etc. (certainly moreso than Youtube etc. at least!).
I can download from Veoh but I think I have that little Veoh app thingy installed on my computer that enables you to do so easier.
The thing with Veoh is that you need the Veoh downloader app. Which a lot of people are turned off. They let you watch all the videos at the moment, because they are testing out stuff. I assume they will change it back where you need to download Veoh Player to watch more than 5 minutes and isn’t Veoh blocking some countries ?
Some people on this forum have used the Putlocker for uploading stuff. You can both download and stream the video without solving captchas or waiting for a timer to go down. Out of all the sharing options I’ve come by lately it seems the handiest for the downloader, but there’s a limitation that the links get deleted if they are inactive for 14 days.
