[Solved]How to play HD spy video, 1080P version

1st, Put the video and subs file in one folder together Vid must be in AVI or MP4 format Sub file must be in SRT format(Just change the end letter to ".srt" and you will be done with it
2nd, Play the video with Window media player classic
3rd, Go to View –> Option, search for the subtitle with the default type option
4th, Change the font size by clicking the "Arial" then change the font size that fit suited you, about 10-14 as these will fit the screen
Real final, Go to the tab labelling play and then click subtitle and enable the default style and everything will be shown although some will be cut away 8)

windows media player classic?
this is to fix the font size, what do you have as problem? :^)

Well… it didn’t do anything. No font size change at all - using Media Player Classic. Everything’s still big and stretched out I’m afraid.

As an alternative method and the one I always use,

 1. Put the video and subtitle into the same folder.
 2. Make sure the subtitle and video do NOT have the same name.
 3. Open the video, and drag the sub file into the video screen.
 4. Right click on the video screen - > Subtitles - > Styles.
 5. Change the Scale x % and Scale y % to your choosing. If there is tabs at the top of this window, you must change it for every one.

Optional) You may also change the border width, shadow depth, and colors as you please here.

hope that helps somebody.

You realize that in the first frame you still don’t have them fitted correctly right? There are three more names on the right side that should be showing that are note. Double check them against the SD Version and you will see what I’m talking about.

will try to fix them up :(
but i gotta go work now sadly

Hey man, take your time. Anyone who decides to work on these things gets all the praise in the world from me. Sorry if that last post sounded pushy, was just letting you know.

I’ve tried messing around with the X and Y in Media Player Classic but it doesn’t fix the issue. Even changed the font size in the player and that did nothing.

My solution for 1080p

 1. Install VLC[/url:22k8tvor]
 2. Grab the 1080p specific sub file I made here[/url:22k8tvor] (I did some crude retiming to get it to work with the 1080p version)
 3. Open the 1080p video with VLC
 4. Load the subtitle file (VIDEO->SUBTITLES TRACK->OPEN FILE or just rename the file to the same thing as your video file)
 5. Enjoy

Updated with real solution solved
LAWLandMine, i’ve finally found the solution to it, read the final and real solution lol

Using the above subtitles was the only solution that worked for me.

It’s no biggie to me, as oddly the 720p version from ShibataBread’s site seems to work rather well for me in 1080p - but yeah apparently media player classic’s subtitle override doesn’t… well override. At least for me, my settings might be wonky too, to begin with. :)

the 720p file is color coded, but oddly when the "Announcer" subtitles come on it messes with the video a bit so it might not be for everybody XD
