Very early 1989 appearance by Downtown on the variety show "Bunchin Club" (文珍クラブ). They perform a stage act along with the two Kojis (Koji Imada and Koji Higashino). Like Yamasaki, I think the two Kojis knew Downtown before Gaki no Tsukai started, via the NSC and 2丁目 theater.

They put on an act where Hamada pretends to be some kind of talent show host (it is funny how he acts here) with the two Kojis performing different acts which appear to be quite simple. But I think the gag is that after they receive their "rating" (the audio sound), they say that actually there were actors playing as the props (such as Matsumoto as the gun and Imada Koji as the bullet being fired) but that they were so good you just couldn’t tell the difference.
Afterwards the host of the show talks with Downtown and the Kojis. For all you Downtown shippers, there is a moment where they give the fangirls in the audience what they want to see.
