Hey guys, found this while looking for Hamada’s Wow Wow War song on veoh.
I’m still not sure what show these are from ,but it’s a compilation of different amateur singer impersonators. Looks like a competition game show.

Thanks for sharing. Haha they did a great job, epic. Higashino Koji is hosting and he’s very familiar with Hamada (he was on early Downtown shows and co-hosts a show with him), he looks like his eyeballs are gonna pop out.

And again here, whilst they’re doing a parody of a Taiko Drum game song using catchphrases of various people. After about 1 minute in, he uses Yamasaki’s early "Yay yay yay!" cathphrase (he hasn’t used it since the early 90s but people still use it to impersonate him) and later does another, "Yamachan!".

Yamasaki himself also has appeared on this show to impersonate other people such as a child Enka singer and a comedian who faces up against wild animals. I think it might of been an earlier version of the same thing but there used to be a show called Monomane Battle as well which he did various acts on such as a Death Note parody. I’ve seen people impersonate others I recognise from watching Gaki no Tsukai too on this show. The Rola impressions are pretty funny for example, she’s often a judge on the show too so they start exchanging between each other and it gets pretty surreal. If anyone is interested I can try and hunt them down on my HD and clip them.
