I thought I wouldn’t enjoy the "I think you like this" episodes when they buy things for people I don’t know, but they are funny too!

I know Tomochika was "Catherine" in the Beverly Hills 90210 parody during the Yugawara Onsen(?) batsu game and the Pizza-cap delivery guy in a several batsus (definitely Hospital and Airport).

Wasn’t she also in the spy batsu game sharing a hot tub with Matsumoto and Endo?

When else has she appeared on the show?

how tall is Matsumoto? in this video(@22:53) he says about himself, I am guessing, 2meters(6.5) . isn’t that sky high for a Japanese individual?!

Matsumoto is about 1,75m

Actually, Tanaka is the tallest one from the 5 guys. Maybe even taller than me!

I believe I remember from the Police Batsu game, Tanaka says he’s 5’10", or roughly 178cm (1.78m).

It’s been said that Hamada is about 5’5, Matsumoto is in the 5’8" range, Yamasaki(Tsukitei) is 5’6", and Endo is 5’6".

Then probably Tanaka is not that taller compared to me.

Yeah, they’re pretty small guys for the most part. Of course I’m only 5’8", so it’s not like I tower over anyone apart from children and my Hispanic relatives.

Woah, I don’t get it… is the picture of the "after" how Housei looks now?

I mean… it looks like a parody of weight lose ads… but… why would you sell a diet product using someone famous who everybody knows doesn’t have that body? (Or maybe Housei changed a lot since the last time I saw him! Like Matsumoto getting muscular over the past few years)

To an extent it’s a parody, having him be shirtless and all, he’s a comedian so they play to that. People tweeted to him the flyer ads and even he was laughing about it
But on the other hand he really did lose 8.5kg of weight so that was how he looked right after his protein diet. They probably used him precisely because people didn’t expect it of him.

His stomach became a LOT flatter, before he had a rotund pot belly which he utilized in his comedy routine for awhile. I also felt you could tell his legs were skinnier on TV. Though some mocked the fact he still had chubby cheeks for a diet commercial, exposed cheek bones is not necessarily a healthy sign.

As for how he looks these days, he’s probably not maintained that same 8.5kg loss, especially with Japan’s love of food shows which he takes up gigs to appear on but still slimmer than where he was at a couple years ago.
