Yeah, he tweeted on February 1st that he didn’t get a flu vaccination this year and paid the price. He’d been going to some very cold places over the winter in snowy parts of Hokkaido for different shows. He was all better after a week but I guess thats when they decided to film this episode
Matsumoto’s jacket at the beginning is just like the Frankenstein’s one Housei gave him.
I noticed that as well, Hidensetsu, and tilted my head a bit. It might not be exactly the same jacket, but it certainly bear resemblance to the one Housei presented him with. Maybe it’s an in-joke between Matsumoto and us? I just glanced at the jacket while I was watching this episode, so could someone take a closer look and try to confirm whether it is actually the same jacket?
I don’t think so, this one look like a leather jacket but Hosei’s one was like a costume jacket. No?
edit: I checked and it’s the same, only the jacket buttons are differents.
Haha, I wonder if Hosei would of noticed that if he hadn’t got the flu and was there. Or perhaps he even wore it just to piss off Hosei watching from home.

I think more than likely that the joke that they were all playing along with that episode was that Tsukitei was choosing bad gifts, even though in reality they may have thought that the gift wasn’t bad at all, because that’s just Tsukiteis "character".
